Leighanne Harris began working with Larry Baumwald Insurance Agency in September of 2003 after completing college. She graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a B.B.A. in Risk Management and Insurance. Leighanne primarily works with our commercial property and casualty accounts. She has extensive experience with many insurance lines including commercial general liability, workers compensation, commercial property, commercial auto, commercial umbrella, product liability and commercial bonds. With her education and experience Leighanne is a valuable resource to our firm. Her personal interests include working out and attending UGA football games.

Dustin Rector began working with Larry Baumwald Insurance Agency in May of 2001. Dustin graduated from the University of Georgia in 2000 with a B.B.A. in Risk Management in Insurance. Prior to working at Larry Baumwald Insurance Agency, he began his career in the actuarial field. Dustin primarily works with the personal lines property/casualty and health clients as well as health insurance for businesses. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, he enjoys working with individuals, families, and businesses in developing sound financial practices. His personal interests include music, football, golf, and involvement with his church. He and his wife, Allison, have three children.

He has over 40 years of experience in the insurance industry. Larry works with all sides of the agency including both personal and commercial lines. With over three decades of service, Larry’s expertise speaks for itself. As an Athens resident for even longer than his insurance career, he is dedicated to the community and loves living here. Larry’s interests include world travel, reading, and following his children’s activities. He and his wife, Sandy, have three children Keith, Erica, and Scott.
